

A four wheel drive featherweight (12Kg) robot that was built
just to enter the live `Roaming Robots` events,
it made it`s debut at the Malvern Three Counties Showground on 4th/5th October
2003.

As usual it was built in a rush and the final version didn`t
quite perform as expected!
the hammer weapon was too heavy for the wiper motor to lift let alone self
right,
shown above is the robot perched on it`s hammer in it`s first fight, unable to
move anywhere!

After the fight , mainly cosmetic damage as everything just
bent back into place
but the chain system now developed a fault which proved difficult to
fix completely and for the remaining fights we had it didn`t run as well as it
should have.
We also removed the hammer which improved the speed but it still didn`t perform
anything
like during testing (we ran it on painted concrete which allowed the skid
steering to work much better).
We also changed the tyres in an attempt to reduce the final gearing but it just
wasn`t enough in the end.
